Covid19 The Early Days - WFH Day #1
The Home office is SET UP! |
Dont forget the hand sanitiser! |
Well here we are...welcome to the early days of working from home! I was pretty excited to get my set up all organised and you know me..i need to be organised.
So i am all plugged in, feeling comfy got all my Stuff around me now LETS WORK!
Thursday was my first day WFM and as i need to keep to a routine..I got up at 7am and did my TIFFXO workout then walked to my local cafe The Servery for my morning coffee which i am giving a Coffee Rating Score of : 8/10. Not bad coffee but i only had enough cash for 2 x small double shot coffees. YES ...the second coffee is for Howie...who is also WFH.
YES, this blog just got a bit more interesting!!! Bloody Hell now i am TECH Support!
On my return home Howie is skyping in with his team and a the same time has them on MUTE and rolling his eyes (poor bugger) his meeting sounds painful! Post-meeting Howie is hating the whole situation and is taking a bit of time to adjust.....he heads off to water the garden!
Our team had our 10am video link up and we agree to meet up (virtually) at 3.30pm for a cuppa tea, for whoever is keen. Today was a productive day and with all the unravelling of our year and big events, there is a bunch of stuff to do!
By 430pm I had enough of being in my Office, Dojang, Spare Room, and we both headed to the beach for a walk. Needed to stretch the legs and get some air.
Covid19 is all around us and we are all adapting to the change of circumstances and its weight.
But Day 1 was all right, there was no travel time, no trains, full snack cupboard and we got through it ok.
Lets see what tomorrow looks like.
Comments
I do hope their parents go and have a look at precious memories made.
I am still in my dressing gown which is unusual for me at this hour of the day.
My activities have been cancelled- eg- U3A (school)- table tennis-and visiting my friend in the Mornington nursing home-but tennis is still going on a Thursday and a Saturday-good to be outside and mixing with positive happy people at that club.
I am taking the precautions required-and hoping against hope that this virus disappears completely--stay calm and confident- Mozza xx
